The Knitting Circle Fiction Hood, Ann "The Knitting Circle" a novel by Ann Hood released January 2007.

Here's a great review on this novel:

The Labor of Love - (The Washington Post)

based somewhat on the author's life experience, but not entirely, about the impact a knitting group has on a woman after the death of her child.

Plans are underway for Julia Roberts to star in a movie based on the book.

DVD - The Art of Knitting

DVDs aids knitting know-how

Basic instruction skills One review said that this can replace "how to" guides because it helps for you to "see" someone knitting and you can learn from that. Also says that poor quality a times but still recommends.   "Two Knitting DVD s get two thumbs up," from one reviewer who really likes this DVD, both for the instructions as well as the spiritual side and music to knit by.

Upon looking at  Amazon though, there is caution because of some poor reviews
